Cobb & Douglas Public Health District Health Director Dr. Jack Kennedy was mentioned in The Marietta Daily Journal as the co-founder of Good Samaritan Health Center of Cobb, a non-profit founded in 2006 that provides medical, dental and pharmacy services to the underserved and often uninsured and below the poverty line populations of Cobb County. The Center is being recognized by the Cobb Community Development Block Grant staff in celebration of Community Development Day on April 20 from 2 to 3 p.m. at its facility at 1605 Roberta Drive in Marietta.
