In honor of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, Cobb & Douglas Public Health will host a free HIV/AIDS testing and counseling event on Feb. 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Marietta Public Health Center, Building A Boardroom, 1650 County Services Parkway in Marietta.
The event is part of a community initiative designed to encourage black men and women to get educated, get tested, get involved and get treated.
Testing is free, confidential and open to everyone. Results are ready within 20 minutes. No needles or blood required.
