Viva Price of Cobb & Douglas Public Health and Lisa Gresham of WellStar Health System, co-coordinators for Safe Kids Cobb County, discussed the dangers of children in hot cars, and how parents can be more aware. Safe Kids Cobb County helps educates parents through safe car seat inspections by appointment at the Cobb County Safety village, 1220 Al Bishop Drive in Marietta. The organization also uses a digital thermometer station to show parents how hot the inside of a car can get related to the temperature outside.
