Mold, flies cited in McDonald’s health inspection fail

The Marietta Daily Journal reported that a Cobb County McDonald’s on Powder Springs Road was cited for health inspection violations including improper hand washing, flies in the kitchen and mold in the ice maker and drink nozzles, resulting in a failing score of 68 for the establishment. Cobb & Douglas Public Health Environmental Health County Manager Karen Gulley told the Journal that following failing inspections, restaurants have 10 days to correct the violations before receiving another inspection.
